Jumping in Buenos Aires
If you are looking to do some jumping in Buenos Aires, the FAITH Team is perfect for you! They are Tomas Peña Aldazabal and his wife, Agustina Rol. They both have been in contact with horses since they were born. It was because of horses that they met and fall in love and since then they have been working together giving jumping lessons.
How they started
Tomas has always been surrounded by horses. His grandfather used to be a professional horse trainer and jumping teacher; his mother and aunts used to do eventing as well. He started training with his grandfather from an early age. Later, he trained with top level riders such as Martin Mallo, Martin Videla and Ricardo Kierkergaard. He participated in many competitions of the highest levels in Argentina and obtained great results. In 2007 he won the national championship in the height of 1,20 meters.
Nowadays he works on starting young horses in the jumping sport and he is also a renowned riding teacher. Tomas has a special gift, he understands horses. Also, he really cares about his students, he’s always trying to get the best out of them.
As for Agustina, she got her degree from the Argentinean Federation as a professional riding instructor. She is very good in jumping as well as dressage, but her best quality is to teach. Agustina has lots of experience coaching and teaching riders of all levels. Also, she is a horse-riding guide.
Where they work
Agustina and Tomas both work together training and doing jumping horses. They work with a lot of horse breeders such as HARAS EL REDOBLE.
The team works in Puesto Viejo Polo Club, near the city of Cañuelas. This is only 30 minutes away from Ezeiza International Airport. Puesto Viejo riding school is run by Agustina and Tomas. The Club has top level accommodations for horses, it can host around 400. The property has 260 hectares which include: 7 polo fields, 1 jumping arena and a hotel boutique with 10 rooms. This is an ideal place to be with horses and practice polo or jumping. It’s even a great choice for holidays because it offers many other things to do. It has a swimming pool, bikes and also a maze (it is the copy of the maze of the Castle of Leads in the UK).
