Itinerary
- Pick up at the Esquina Bus terminal and check in at the Estancia. Each guest will be taken to their room. Riders will have a short talk about the place, and the scheduelled activities.
- Day 1: A short one hour long ride along the palm tree path so as to get used to the riding. You will be back for tea and have free time until dinner.
- Day 2: Ride towards the Corriente River. This is a 5 hour ride (depening on the canter). While going, rider will pass different landscapes and intesresting spots such as the old cementery, where long time ago local people use to burry their family. It gives a little bit of goosebumps. After an hour and a half ride or so they will reach the main entrance of the estancia and then will cross the huge arena road to head the other part of the farm. Once here, the landscape will change into a close forest and the gaucho will go first openening the way. In these type of places is super easy to get lost! Maybe while riding guest will be lucky to see dears. After a while riding by the forest, suddenly the white sand will appear and with it the great Corriente River. Lunch will be served by the river with an amazing view! After lunch, the guest will be able to rest at the hanging hammoks, or if requested, they can go for a boat ride along the river (this has a small extra cost). Then they will start heading home. They will ride by the white arena beach and by water streams where they will be able to see fishes such as Dorados. Riders will be back just for the afternoon tea.
- Day 3: The following morning the plan is to head towards the "Refugee" and the Pucu lagoon! Horses will be ready around 10:30 am. First, they will head to the forestation forest, then they will follow an arena road that will take them to the estauries. On the way to the lagoon if they are lucky, riders will be able to see antelopes and dears. Once at the refugge they will be surprised with homemade lunch. At the refugge they have beds to have a nap, bathroom and the oportunity to go in a boat ride to be able to watch the local fauna: alligators and capybaras.
