Just imagine waking up in a nice cozy house and watching through the window beside your bed how grooms are preparing the horses, the foals eating the morning food, the jumping field waiting for you and the horses grazing… It’s the ultimate place for horse lovers!
Haras Segundo Ayre has a super fun field to practice cross country. Jumps are easy for beginners and also high difficulty for advanced riders. Moreover, the jumps go around the whole place, so riders can do a long or short cross. Joe is an amazing coach; he loves teaching and showing his method for training and jumping horses. This is based on safe horses. He understands that cross country is a risk activity and therefore he tries his best to have the safest horses. To do this, he takes a long time training them and developing the correct musculation for each horse.

Other activities for riders and non riders companions
Haras Segundo Ayre has a unique location due to its closeness to Buenos Aires City and the area of Pilar, but it is also surrounded by small rural towns that offer nice traditional places to visit.
Lujan city is also very close to Haras Segundo Ayre. This is a very important religious city and one of the most well-known pilgrimage centers of Argentina. Of Course, the Basilica de Nuestra Señora de Luján stands out proudly in front the Belgrano square. The Basilica's architecture is mostly neo gothic and it is among the most important religious buildings of the country. It was built in honor to the Virgin of Lujan, who is also the patron saint of Argentina. Inside the Basilica is the statue of the virgin, which is very important because of the miracles that happened around it. Each year, during the first weekend of October there is a pilgrimage from different areas of Buenos Aires to the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Luján. Many people do it by horse, which is why during this time of the year it is very common to see people riding by the roads that go to Lujan city.
Carlos Keen is a small rural town placed very close to Haras Segundo Ayre. This charming town used to be very important because it was one of the stops of the railway track that joined Pergamino and Lujan city. During the end of the XIX century Argentina was considered the “barn of the world” due to its agricultural production. Grains had to be moved from all around the country to the main ports, and the best way of doing that during those days was by train, which is why the railway construction had a lot of relevance during the XIX and XX centuries. Towns that were part of the railway stops acquired substantial importance. Carlos Keen is a popular gastronomic destination in Buenos Aires province. It is a must to visit its old “bodegones” restaurants.
