Unique & Outstanding Horse Riding Experiences

Full Moon Horse Riding

per person

The full moon horse riding is a unique adventure! To be able to ride under the Andean skies full of stars and guided by the light of the full moon is a great opportunity. This can be found only fifty minutes away from the city of Mendoza. The activity starts in the afternoon.

We offer this “day tour” for horse and nature lovers because we understand that they don’t always count with enough time as they would like to do a long ride of many days. Even if it’s less than a day long, this ride is very special!

The place is located in the Tupungato region, an area well known worldwide for the excellent quality of their wines. This is because of the soil’s characteristics: alluvial, sandy, with a good base of sediments and calcium carbonate.

Location

The estancia is found in the Tupungato region, in the Uco Valley, on the piedmont of the Andes Mountains. This is only 70 km away from the City of Mendoza.

Other activities for riders and non riders companions

The estancia Entreandes is located in Tupungato, one of the three departments that integrate the Uco Valley. The other two are San Carlos and Tunuyan. This land is worldly known for its fertility and production of high quality wines. That’s why a great way of spending time here is visiting the wine cellars, and this region has a lot! Salentein, Piedra Negra, Atamisque and Andeluna are just a few we can mention. They are all beautiful, and each counts with a restaurant with delicious meals to offer and a delightful background landscape to relax and enjoy while tasting a glass of wine.

Besides horseback riding, the Uco Valley has other means to connect with the amazing nature. Trekking is an excellent choice. The whole region has many incredible trails to discover, where one can admire the stunning views all around, like the Silver Cordon, or the south face of the Silver Mount, or even the great Tupungato volcano, with over 6.000 meters high. The are many trail options like “El Chorro de la Vieja”, a cascade of approximately 50 meters that can be found only 12 km away from the “Manzano Historico” Reserve; the trekking to the “Cristo Misericordioso”, a 6 meters tall Christ thats is at 3.900 meters high; or to the “Cajon de los Arenales”, a beautiful granite valley with a unique landscape.

For those who enjoy the water, there is also the opportunity to do rafting in the Tunuyan River. It’s perfect for beginners because its difficulty goes from low to moderate, being calmer in the winter and more alive in the summer time. It’s a ride that lasts for 8 approximately 8 kilometers.

As for fishing, the Uco Valley is a hot spot for rainbow trout and salmonids. Its fresh, crystal clear waters are rich in oxygen and have the perfect temperature and conditions for the breeding of these fishes. To be able to practice this sport in such an amazing environment is a memorable adventure, and as for the gastronomy, these are fresh products that can be found in all the hotels and restaurants of the region.
